Cancer 🐝

I wanted to reach out and say that I appreciate all the support for Bee's Canna Farm's journey. My motivation for starting this company was to show others the benefits that I found in this medicinal plant in my own personal journey of helping my grandparents when they faced cancer (as well as my own personal testimonies, which needs a topic of its own LoL).

This plant truly changed how my grandmother (Lyda Underhill) felt when dealing with cancer. I started to scratch the surface on the benefits that cannabis had to offer with my grandpa (Will Underhill), but by the time my grandma fell ill, I learned to make it into an oil, which is a much better route of administration when someone is not feeling well.

CBD oil is a wonderful route of delivery because you can just squirt it in your mouth, making it very easy for my grandma at this stage in her life. My grandmother stayed very upbeat throughout her treatment, with very minimal side effects from her chemotherapy, which is shocking. At this point, I had already been studying this plant for a few years after the oncologist recommended that my grandpa needs to try cannabis to help him feel better (the passionate drive for learning the medicinal value of this plant was well established at this point LoL).

I have read thousands of peer reviewed medical journals, tons of books, and any little piece of educational information that I could get my hands on regarding this plant, BUT I was blown away after seeing what this plant did first-hand. My immediate reaction was I have to tell the world, but HOW?!?

I watched my grandma miss a day of her daily routine CBD dose, which maybe happened maybe twice throughout her whole treatment. She fell ill within half a day battling nausea and vomiting, which blew my mind honestly. I could not believe that this Full Spectrum CBD Oil was working so effectively to improve how she felt, and kept down the urge to vomit, while simultaneously improving her appetite (HUGE PLUS) .

Like anyone, I was kind of skeptical at first. She stayed on her routine and a week or two went by and she missed another dose of CBD oil and got extremely sick again. I was like this is it. No way that this CBD Oil is improving her quality of life to this extent (which was an absolute Godsend), but it was. Come to find one of the first discoveries of CBD was how well it works for those that are taking cancer treatment. Check this out.

Studies show that cannabinoids (CBD, THC, etc.) act on CB1 receptors and 5-HT3 receptors that are located in the dorsal vagal complex (DVC), which controls the vomiting response (1). By acting on CB1 receptors we can “turn off” that urge to vomit, which is great for patients taking chemotherapy and feeling like they can't keep anything down…

In addition to the anti-nausea properties, preclinical research shows that CBD may affect different pathways that are involved in the formation (pathogenesis) of cancer, which is another HUGE plus of anyone dealing with cancer (2).

In addition to those findings, Cancers, a peer-reviewed medical journal that is focused on oncology (cancer) research shows a graph where they list the therapeutic actions of CBD, which included (2):

I want to know why the benefits of cannabinoids (natural plant compounds) aren't shared more, especially if information like this is being published in medical journals around the world. There are sick people that need help and conventional routes aren't working for some.

This is a friendly reminder that it isn’t our job to sit around and wait for someone else to take charge and give us the greenlight. The research is there, and we have been using this plant for thousands of years...

It isn’t like this is some new drug that has been pushed through clinical trials and disregarded for any long-term safety effects...
