Bridging the Gap
Whether you are dealing with pain & inflammation, insomnia, stress, depression, or even cancer, I want to show you what cannabinoid medicine has to offer. As my passion for health and wellness and research has continued, God has shown me the capabilities of cannabis being used as medicine, for which I am extremely thankful for.
At first it seems pretty crazy thought because of what we were taught about this plant, but as time goes on, we realize the negative stigma associated with cannabis is a thing of the past. In fact, research shows that cannabinoid medicine has a promising future and may help us bridge the gap in healthcare. From easing suffering to improving our quality of life, this beneficial herb holds some answers.
In my opinion, what a better thing to rely on than a medicinal herb. After dealing with patients in emergency medicine for the past 10 years, I concluded that patients were dealing with tons of side effects from their meds and the side effects were often worse than the condition they were taking it for (bizarre!).
On top of that, their health almost always deteriorated over time. From disrupting the gut’s microbiome (which compromises our immune system) to accelerating cellular aging, pharmaceuticals are creating another problem in our healthcare system. Yes, they serve a purpose and are lifesaving, no doubt, but when we are over utilizing medications and relying on them long term, we are creating a a gigantic problem, for which there will just be another medication for another side effect. You get my drift and I am sure you heard me preach this before...
Medications are the 3rd leading cause of death, which means that we have PLENTY of room for improvement and the safety profile of this plant catches my attention (1). This is where my goal is to bridge the gap in healthcare and fill in the holes where needed. When we see a problem and we fix it. Not only do we want to improve our quality of life but we need to take our later years into consideration (we don’t want to trade in our health for relief!).
After taking many classes in my undergrad on plant medicine, I realized how we used herbs successfully for thousands of years. Fast forward to today, After countless hours of research I believe that we can use plant medicine (something we have used for an eternity) to bridge the gap in healthcare. For goodness sake, we want a solution, not another problem! It’s no secret that our medical system needs reform and I think going back to utilizing herbs that are confirmed using modern day science is exactly how we do it. Come to find out that even though medications are the 3rd leading cause of death here in the U.S., studies show that less than 10% of medical errors are actually reported (1). Does this mean that pharmaceuticals (if properly reported) could surpass cardiovascular disease (#1 killer) and cancer (#2 killer)?
Could our healthcare be killing us when it comes to chronic health and wellness?
With over 40,000 medical papers published worldwide on cannabinoid medicine, I believe the endocannabinoid system (receptor system all mammals have) can unlock some answers for us. I want to show others how to use cannabinoid medicine, giving others access to information about cannabinoid medicine and access to only the best products so you can improve your quality of life using something natural. With little information about cannabinoid medicine out there, I am hoping to bring the educational aspect behind it and bring that information straight to you.
After all, dosage and CBD/THC ratios vary between every one of our products. Different benefits can be expected with different products because different doses have different effects. For example, lower doses of CBD with small amounts of THC can be stimulating, while heavy doses of CBD and THC may be more relaxing. When you start to adjust the CBD and THC doses and ratios in different products with different terpene profiles, things can get a bit confusing. Trust me, I get it ...
If you have any questions about something you may be dealing with and you are tired of suffering, please reach out anytime. I am here to help you and guide you to find the product that may fit you best.
Bee Well,
Brandon Farless
