Alternative medicine utilizes a whole person approach by taking the body, mind, spirit, and lifestyle factors into consideration to treat the root cause of the disease. Alternative medicine focuses on disease prevention through healthy lifestyle measures (diet and exercise) and utilizing herbs daily.
🌲
Allopathic or conventional medicine tends to focus on symptoms and does not take the whole-body approach into consideration and focuses on addressing symptoms through patented prescriptions that keep you a returning customer for profit off your poor health. There is zero connection between diet and disease. Why? Because that would blow their whole for-profit systems cover.

The whole-body approach can be described as having an understanding that one organ system relies on another organ system. These organ systems all work together for the greater good of the body and are not separate entities, therefore a malfunctioning organ system will affect the other and create chain reactions. Understanding and addressing the root cause is a big step in empowering patients.

For example, if you have been diagnosed with heart disease, allopathic or conventional medicine will notice what symptoms you are having and prescribe a medicine for it. If you are having high cholesterol (hyperlipidemia), high blood pressure (hypertension), or even type II diabetes you will get prescribed a medication that addresses the symptoms at hand without ever telling the patient the original cause that has put them in this position, therefore patients never actually improve their condition. As a matter of fact, if they take that medication for prolonged periods of time another problem will arise. It’s not an IF, but WHEN. The truth is the body doesn’t work synergistically with synthetic chemicals. Never has and never will, which is another reason why herbs are the best!
🌲
Well, how come my doctor doesn’t prescribe herbs? Herbs aren’t patentable and there is no money to be made. It never was about your health, but rather profit.
♻️
Alternative Medicine has a big push on education and telling patients the “why” this has happened so people can help themselves and understand what caused the problem, which is exactly what allopathic medicine lacks.
🐝
Keeping patients uneducated on what has caused their problem is deceitful and keeps them coming back for a refill for medications. The sad part about it is that people think they are helping themselves and improving their condition!! Pharmaceuticals aren’t intended to fix anything and that should be discussed in everyone’s appointments. Telling patients the "why" behind their “dis-ease” empowers patients to take their own health into their own hands.
🌲
This form of empowerment is what true healthcare is in my opinion. We can help improve the health of mankind without keeping them clueless on why they are in the condition they are in. See, the human body is beyond amazing and can always heal itself. You just must remove the interference that has caused the problems in the first place, whether it's explaining the connection of diet and disease or getting your spine adjusted to remove that interference, the body will heal itself if you just give it the chance to. Eat whole foods, get sunshine, and always ask questions and be skeptical anytime anyone gives health advice.
